I turned my UAC back on, and all bets are off! Now, it doesn't work anymore, no Open Data Files, No Resume recording etc.
So I turned it back off (UAC) and now I can't seem to get back to where the disabling warnings thing worked.
So I Uninstalled, re-installed and tried restoring to a previous version. I tried this before a couple of times, and it did't seem to work, But This Time, I ran it, and when a restored point came up (2007) I clicked on it, even though it looks already highlighted, it's not, so be sure to click on it, click OK, and I've got my fingers crossed, it seems to work now.
I think my problems are because I updated to Windows 7 from Vista, instead of a clean install.
