I'm French, and I help Donald to translate lasertank in others
languages.
If you want to begin the translations, it's very easy :
you translate only the file Language.dat and theses pictures :
Control.bmp & Opening.bmp.
If you have only few time, just start with the MAIN MENU, the EDITOR
MENU, and MAIN BUTONS sections in the file Language.dat. It's 90% of
the game !
After that, send to Donald the file Language.dat, we will include it
in the language package. The help file will remain in english.
You don't need to use the lcc compiler and sources to test your
translation. Just folow theses instructions :
1) create a sub-directory named '\Language' under the LaserTank
directory.
2) copy and rename the help file in LaserTankGr.hlp (for the greek
version) or LaserTankRu.hlp (for the rusian version). Put this file
in the '\Language' directory.
3) copy the translated Control.bmp, Language.dat, and Opening.bmp in
the '\Language' directory.
4) launch lasertank (version 4.08 and up), it will detect the
translation.
Have fun with the translation, and lasertank.
