On the special notices section of the LT site, it says:
"If someone wants to convert the game to run on another platform
( i.e. Mac OS, Linux, ect.. ) please and tell me how you are doing."
It's probably outdated but it seems to be relevant.
Rewriting LT is proabably not a good idea because of the bugs in it,
which we need. However, there are bugs in the gameplay that probably
need to be removed (eg. ice not breaking) and others that the group
hasn't made a decision about (eg. tunnel bug shown by Ihab and
Suyono). So starting with the original code and make improvements if
it's simple to do so, would be a good idea even in C++.
