and I must say the ones with the odd shaped "blocks" look fantastic.
One problem though, some of the file sizes are changed, some bigger,
some smaller. When I copied and saved a game bitmap,I would first
save in 256 colors, and I would watch for color change as I hit the OK
button, and if I didn't see any change, I would continue, but if I
did, then I would resave in 24-bit, and repaste and resave. I thought
it best to retain the original color over file size. On the ltg's
created by hitting the greyscale button in a paint program, I believe
the only way to accurately copy it in the smaller file size, is to
have the original color map it was created from, if you try to save in
16 or 256, it slides to the green or blue, but can be copied in 24-bit
and it stays grey, but the file size goes up. Does anyone know how to
keep the file sizes the same, or why this happens? I've sent the ltg's
off to Donald, but if anyone wants them for testing I can send them to
you. Some of the authors might want to make changes in theirs, so I
can send you the Game and mask bitmap if you want, just leave a
message here, Gerry
