saved, but in which you haven't reached the flag yet. To modify a
playback, you don't have to use "Resume Recording". I think.
2. You can't 'undo' steps in a playback. You will have to reset it.
You can, however, 'close' the playback window and Undo the steps. To
review the steps / playback, you will have to see it from the
beginning.
3. You can't 'insert' steps in a playback, no. You will have to
memorize or otherwise replicate the steps after that point.
