With the help of the 16 levels from Game-Objects-in-LT.lvl, funny things like that won't happen anymore to the new players.

It's great that you have added the new
link from "Intro" and "Welcome" pages to
the "Help" page.
I had funny experiences when the first
time I played LaserTank. I'm a
sub-average player, so I made many
mistakes when interpreting the functions
of those objects. Here are those silly
interpretations of mine.
Rotary mirror.
I thought, if I shot the left side of
the mirror base, the mirror would turn
clockwise; and if I shot the right side
of the mirror base, it would turn
counterclockwise.
Movable mirror.
It looked like half of movable block, so
if I pushed two complementary mirrors
into a water tile, I would get a bridge.
:-(
More than two tunnels of the same color.
I used editor to create many tunnels of
the same color. Coincidentally, I
created them in same order as their exit
priority. After a few tries, I concluded
that the exit priority depended on their
creation order. The first one I created
would have the highest exit priority.
Anti-tank.
I found out that if I put a flag on a
square just in front of an unmovable and
undestroyable anti-tank, the tank
couldn't reach the flag. So, I created a
level with that kind of fake flag just
to lure the solvers. I didn't know that
the solvers could put another antitank
with higher shooting priority at far
place but seeing the bait flag, then ...
Bye,
