Ahhhhhhhh. that explains it. i found that the "hide the window" trick
worked a bit, but i didn't know about turning off the sound trick
before. without hiding the window, i just did an "f8" resume
of "theoretical max" (65500 moves) in under 10 seconds at medium size
on a P3/650. it goes faster with no other windows open, too.
