It's the use of Restart+Undo that
should be written in my previous email.
For level creators, this situation happens many
times. So, probably many of you know better than
I do.
1. You play after so many moves. (Record Game
can be ON or OFF.) At the current position,
your tank can be on top of something (tunnel,
tank mover, ice, anti-tank, etc.) Also,
movable block can be on tunnel, tank mover,
thin ice, etc.)
2. Haven't save anything (yet), you incidentally:
* edit the level,
* save the new level, and
* press 'Restart'.
It's the unwanted situation. Anything under
any object became ground. Your saved level
is the position after so many moves. How
to recover your level and make a playback?
3. Click on 'Record Game' (F5).
4. Click on 'Undo' (U) ONCE. << Important step.
Without this step, the playback file will
record zero move and zero shot.
5. Do 'Save Recording' (F6). << It's your
playback file.
6. Click on 'Undo' until the counter is exactly
0/0. (DO NOT use 'Restart'. See warning
below.)
7. Click on 'Editor' (F9).
8. Do 'Save As ...' your level at 0/0 position.
9. Click on 'Close Editor' (F9).
10. You may 'Restart' now.
Warning: Never click on 'Restart' twice in a
row because the position before the new step 0
is the same position, i.e. the new 0/0. It's
a complete reset to the new position, so you
lost the original level.
Note: If your edited level is so much different
with the original level, use different level
number in step 8 from the number in step 2, then
use LTPBEdit.exe to edit the playback file.
Bye,
Suyono
