articulated some of these features very well! I like ALL of the quirks
in LaserTank logic, I think it makes the game more interesting. There
are a ton of these quirks in the tunnel logic and ice logic as well. I
think the "press twice" quirk was removed because you can't solve the
level by using your mouse. I believe that at one time, Jim Kindley was
thinking of removing all these "bugs", but so many levels came in so
quickly, (1500 or so in a couple of months ), and a lot of the more
interesting ones relied on a "bug" or two, that he didn't do it. And
I'm glad he didn't. Anyway, if you want the game to be absolutely
logical, I think Kheper said it best: Where would you find giant
mirrors on a battlefield, and giant blocks for your tank to "push".
LaserTank doesn't copy "real" life, it has a logic of it's own, which
is why we love it. I'd love to see all the quirks and bugs listed, it
would be good for the newer players, for sure. G.E.Meyerfeld made a
wonderful series of levels showing some of the tunnel/mirror logic in
the Challenge-I file, #616-621, Gerry :-)
