First, it's nice to know that someone (other than Donald) is using
the LaserTank Utilities Suite. I hope you find it usefull.
Let me confirm that I understand what you want - The sums of the
moves & shots for all of the levels in an 'hs' file and its
corresponding 'ghs' file, and the differences of these totals. (The
remaider of this message assumes that this is true.)
This capability would be fairly easy to implement, but I don't
understand what value it has (since the individual levels in a 'lvl'
file are "independent"). However, if anyone else wants this
capability, I'll add it to the Suite.
Meanwhile, assuming that you have a spreadsheet program (e.g.,
Excel or QuattroPro), you can get these numbers as follows. Given
the files Example.lvl, Example.ghs & Example.hs (in the same folder),
run the List High Scores program (LTListHS.EXE) on Example.lvl.
Select the 'tab delimited text' option under report the output to the
Clipboard. Paste these results into your spreadsheet and use its
"Summation" tool (usually denoted by an uppercase greek sigma) to add
down the columns that contain the numbers you want to total. The
differences of these totals are then easily obtained.
Regards,
Harvey
