My opinions:
1. Make the current LT as the subset of your New-LT
(NLT). It means that all current LT levels can be
ported into NLT levels easily and solved the same way.
(Removing some objects will create downward
incompatibility. ) Some suggestions:
a. The board has bigger and variable size. (Say, max.
48x32; now fixed 16x16.)
b. Increase the number of tunnel colors from 8 to 16.
(Can be bicolor.)
c. Add counterclockwise rotary mirrors to complement
the current clockwise rotary mirrors.
d. Etc.
2. No clock and no random movement. The LT players
play at their own time: slow or fast will get the
same lpb.
3. The current accepted bugs are part of the LT
rules.
