good suggestion - i did wonder about ancestors of lasertank, but i am
not knowledgable on the subject, so i did not write about them other
than to mention and link to the sokoban wiki article in the "genre"
section:
"There is also a collection of levels requiring the pushing of blocks
around and resembles another computer puzzle game called Sokoban."
i will mention it being an influencial predecessor. also there is an
interesting section called "Scientific research on Sokoban" in the
sokoban article.
also there are links to:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computer_puzzle_game
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_puzzle_video_games
i wanted to add lasertank to the List_of_puzzle_video_games - i think
i would choose "Obstacle course navigation" along with sokoban.
i haven't tried a whole lot of puzzle games, but maybe i should try
some.
