Some of you may know that I held an account with another.com; I'm writing to let you all know what they've just put me and several others through.
I received an email a few weeks back replying to an empty email, with only my another.com signature. I replied to say that I hadn't sent it.
After sending 3 messages to their support staff (receiving several other messages from yahoo, hotmail and another.com users asking what I was on about), I got two responses; the first asked me to forward any spam I received, the second was more constructive.
I thought I'd got it sorted, but some more mails came in. I also received a request from support at another.com asking me to ask those who'd got emails from my account (bear in mind that I knew none of these ppl) to forward them to support. I did so, and on Friday, one mailed me back to ask if it was okay to forward what she'd received. I okayed it, asking her to explain what was going on.
I tried to access my account today, but it's been removed, presumably because they sent me an email and, because I was out of circulation for two days, I couldn't respond. I've written to them, asking them why, but asking them not to reinstate my account.
You can do what you like with this mail, but I thought I should let you all know what another.com has been doing, since this problem may affect some of you.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
Yours,
James Hallam
