You've means you have.
So when you take the contraction apart it says: you have have.
You forgot a comma: "correct English, but." Commas are always used before
conjuntions, and but is a conjunction.

"Well" is used in dialogue only, but you got the comma right.

"/" is not used in normal context, it should be "or."
