I have the high score, I feel lucky. I do not have consistency. Some
levels seem easy for me and difficult for others. Other levels, rated
easy by others, have been difficult for me. Still other levels, I
found easy, but am also nowhere near the high score.
Maybe someday the high score solutions for some of these levels will
be posted. Then the rest of us can learn from the solution. But, in
the meantime, I am willing to try and help. If you see my name
("Jay") associated with a level that you have a much higher score,
post the level number, possibly with your solution. Then I can
attempt to compare your solution to mine and create some advice.
However, I suspect you are referring to more difficult levels. (As I
mention below, my solutions are generally for Easy levels.)
As for favorite levels, people will have different tastes. For me, I
generally only like levels I can solve in a single session. This
fairly much means Easy levels. (Recently, I have been enjoying Gary's
levels, which tend to be easier levels for me, and he has created so
many new levels.) But there are two exceptions to my solving only
Easy levels. First, being a fan of the original Sokoban game, I try
to solve all of the Sokoban levels. (However, true Sokoban puzzles
would not have mirrors, anti-tanks, or ice.) Second, sometimes the
level looks so interesting, that I might spend more than one session
to solve it. Many by "Yono in Jkt." fall into that category. To me,
those levels have a great variety and are the most artistic I have
seen. After solving one of those levels, rather than feel good that I
solved it, I feel humbled and say to myself, "How could someone have
thought of such a wonderful design?"
Finally, I also want to add my thanks to Donald for all his efforts
associated with this puzzle. (I am sure they are enormous.) I also
want to add thanks to the many puzzle creators that continue to
provide such wonderful and thoughtful entertainment to us.
