It's not very long time since LaserTank 4.0 was released, so I don't
think we are in desperate need for a new version yet (that be 4.1 or
5.0).
As for the problems,
1) This is right, Filters only work once before you have to use it
again. This is not a very big thing though.
If you only want to use the Filter for Difficulty selections, as you
wrote, you can press 'D' during game and choose the Difficulties you
want to play.
2) I have never experienced this bug. Could you please try and
explain it a little deeper?
