the consistency in giving the rating
must be held. So, let Sok-I #1563
"Soko Drain" be rated "Deadly". When
I submitted my lpb to Donald, I knew
that the level was the "Down the
Drain" (LT #40) upside-down that was
rated "Deadly". However, at that time,
the "Soko Drain" had "Medium" rating
(rated by Momo) and "Thirteen Tons"
(Sokoban-I #428, by GerrW, that also
uses the "Down the Drain") had "Hard"
rating. I took the average and tried
not to upset other solvers much, so I
re-rated the "Soko Drain" from "Medium"
to "Hard". Now, I'm happy that Donald
re-rated "Soko Drain" to "Deadly".
Thanks to Tina.
2) ("Were you surprised when I pulled
out those levels on you? Did you
think my level creating is getting
better?" - Razorflame) Yes, I did.
Actually, among your September levels,
my favorite is Ch-III #566 "For Sven
Egevad".
3) Hi Gerry. I just played LT #686 "No
name II". For me, it's MORE than
"Medium". Some Sokobaners might have
different opinion. (I'm very weak in
Sokoban.) They might guess where the
blocks go in advanced. Its short hint
is very helpful, "Use all movable
blocks. (488,165)" while the main
problem is to find the locations for
the bridges.
4) I agree with Javi that the newer
level creators have been getting more
and more facilities in creating new
levels.
5) Usually, topics on "Where are the
lpbs?" and "Did this level get correct
rating?" make us shortened our
"vacation".
Bye,
Suyono
