wxWidgets does run on 64-bit OSs. See href="http://wiki.wxwidgets.org/Development:_wxMac#Building_under_10.6_Snow_Leopard">this page for assistance.
Also, there is already a Spanish translation for LT which I have just ported for wxLT, as well. If you'd like to review it and add the missing strings for wxLT, that would be wonderful.
There is now a page explaining the translation process at the wxLT site - http://wxlasertank.sourceforge.net/.
