I'm trying to explain things by just watching what happens on the
screen. You're looking at "the way LaserTank.exe excutes
movements", so nothing can be simultaneous. That's true but most
players (including me) wouldn't know the order of how its executed.
have a look at the attached levels. In both levels, you can't say
that either object is in front of the other (they 'appear'
simultaneous). In one, the object entering the lower tunnel goes to
the top tunnel. In the other, the object entering the middle tunnel
goes to the top tunnel.
I wanted to be able to predict the result by simply watching what
happens:
the object that has been moving for a shorter period of time will
act as if it reached the square first.
Thinking of it like this is simple and it works, so why not use it?
