Normally the start- up-diskette of 98 SE has no FORMAT, see attach. I hereby send you the FORMAT.
The startup diskette has FDISK, when you have formatted you should enter FDISK/MBR, and with a little bit of luck you should be able to install everything with you diskette and your CD-Rom '98.

Good news and bad news:

First the good news: ============ ==== My Lasertank files are now saved on some CD, we have been able to extract them from my HD by installing it into the computer of my brother-in-law.
All the LPB, LVL, GHS etc... are in security now. Now the bad news:
============ === It took us many attempt in order to be able to extract the files from the HD, we were often getting errors and had to retry many times.
I won't trust this HD anymore.
Anyway, my brother-in-law tried to to reinstall windows but without success. Due to the strange behavior of the machine, he think I'm due to buy a new one but my financial situation doesn't allow me to buy it right now.
Another good news:
============ ==== I've been able to activate my email server from the computer of my brother-in-law so you can continue to send me your messages, levels files, LPB files, GHS files etc...
I'll be able to answer you once a day when visiting my brother-in-law. I'll do the next LaserTank update as soon as I'll buy a new machine.
