Another point: Some soundcards can't play two different audio's at
the same time... in this case, playing an MP3 in the background would
mute the sound effects in Laser Tank. adding MP3's to Laser Tank
wouldn't be such a good idea, because of the great amount of memory
it would contain. By simply adding MIDI music to the program, people
whom do not have a complex sound card could listen to music and sound
effects at the same time! Your theory could be related to almost
every other gaming software you can think of. For example: Lets say
your playing a pinball game which has sound effects, but no music in
the background. The user wishes to listen to music, yet his/her sound
is muted while playing sound files in the background (with something
like windows media player). Simply adding music to the pinball game
would solve this problem. Besides, many games (such as Tetris)
already have this feature equipped, so music and SFX are available
simultaneously during game play. Yes, I know adding music to the
program and being this argumentative about it is rather pointless,
but I believe it would be up to the Laser Tank fans to figure out
what would be best, and to listen to their opinions before taking
action.

choose which one do you want in the editor (so you can use the music
you prefer for a single level). If it is ont set in the editor, it
will be random.
