Congratulation to PGN (Per-Gunnar Nilsson)
who solved ALL 2000 levels of Challenge-I.LVL.
We still remember the Message #4612
(April 10, 2003) that informed us that PGN
had solved ALL 2030 levels of LaserTank.LVL.
I want to share his Challenge-I summary to
this forum:

I think that the Challenge-I file is easier
to complete (only 7 deadly levels confirms
this), compared to the original LaserTank file.
The most difficult level to solve for me, by
far, was level 1333 (Ch-I). I have, from time
to time, for almost two years tried to solve
it and when I finally solved it I had beaten
the GHS!
The best level is Donald's own "The ducky's
journey" (Level 0009).
Gerry two deadly levels, #0065 and #0072,
have solutions that I think are a little
bit too extreme. They use the "rules of
engagement" to the maximum. If you have
solved them yourselves you know what I mean.
Also I have found out that best way to solve
certain levels ("move mirrors and other
things into a correct position") is to use
the level creator. Recreate the levels and
place the mirrors etc. until you can
actually solve the level.

I always admire PGN's persistence and
endurance in achieving the goal. He, like a
zamboni, is moving to Challenge-III now. So,
watch out.
