I am using
Lasertank on Windows 98 S.E.
I have tried to
reproduce what you explain in your message.
I have edited my
Lasertank .lvl, and i have moved the level 1 "Boot Camp" to position 21, and i
have saved this file to Lasertank.lvl
Then i have record
a playback of the level 21 "Boot Camp" , the result =
Lasertank_0021.lpb
Then i have edited
again my Lasertank.lvl, to bring back "Boot Camp" to the position 1 and i have
saved this file to Lasertank.lvl
Then i have made
all the steps you describe in your message and everything have work
fine.
I am wondering,
which Lasertank version do you use, is it version 4.04 ?

description was not correct.
Does anyone experience this? And on other Windows versions?
Step 1
Open the level file LaserTank.lvl from C:/Program
Files/LaserTank
or from any directory for which the ***FIRST*** item in the
path
contains a blank.
Step 2
Press F7 to open a Playback in which the level number
doesn't
match the one in LaserTank.lvl (but the level name must
match).
/e.g. saved when the level was still in temp.lvl/
Now a dialog appears:
Playback Level: ...
Cannot be found in the current level File:
< C:/Program Files/LaserTank/LaserTank.lvl >
N.B. blanks in the path name of the .lpb don't matter.
