The 'Bomb' graphic is not official;
In the old Club days, the ability to change the graphics of Laser
Tank was just made.
Also, Laser Tank 4.0 was in its early beta testing stages, so people
kept on suggesting new objects they hoped to be added in 4.0. (Three
of these were actually added; Tunnel, Ice and Thin Ice.)
So one person suggested the Bomb idea, if the Tank fired a Laser on
the detonator / button (the red button), the bomb (radio active sign)
would blow and destroy all 8 objects surrounding it (turning them
into Dirt).
Jim never supported this idea, but many fans supported it, so they
started adding ideas for the graphics of the Bomb and Detonator (just
as ideas, or in case it actually was added, which it wasn't).
