regarding using the "yahoo" text version - that's the ticket i think,
but yahoo should be able to read messages from "netscape" and any
other common email browser for crying out loud. is it "yaHOO"
or "yaBOO"? i already sent a complaint to them, but finding yahoo's
contact info for comments was like finding a needle in a haystack of
other needles.
being able to format fancy messages with "netscape" or "outlook" is
nice and sometimes useful, but literature functioned just fine for
centuries without different coloured fonts or animated gifs. i don't
care if i have to stick to plain text, but it still seems like a step
backwards.
if using the yahoo "reply" function, one important thing is to
compose and save a message in something else like "wordpad" and then
pasting into "yahoo" because sure as anything, "explorer" or "yahoo"
will crash and the message will be lost forever.
actually, netscape has a send message format "plain text" function
for those who want to be able to be read in the "daily digest".
y'know, we already have our format limited regarding attachments
without problems like this. UGH - WAY too cranky for a sunday >: (
