Yes, I have tested your converter especially when the end of the
original file has the combination of hi (FF) and low (00) characters,
with various number of characters (rem = 0, 1, 2 for mod = 3).
The problem with the clipboard is the 'out of memory' problem, but
that's OK since the message is supposed to be 'small'.
Under the 'write' tab, we can find 'Past' (twice). Is it 'Paste' or
'Pass'? If I may suggest, probably the term 'Decode' is also good. (The
clipboard still has base-64 code, and then after the 'Past' button has
been clicked, the 'original' file is ready for writing.)
