I have been a member of this Group for a little over a year and I
have been hoping that one of the more senior members would initiate
some appropriate action, or at least "put some feelers out" to see
what people might like to do with regard to
a) determining Donald's circumstances and whether he will be
returning;
b) what to do if we can't answer 'a)' or it is clear that he will not
be returning.
Some thoughts:
1. Don't send any more email to Donald as that would appear to be
pointless at this stage.
2. If anybody is a friend (outside LT) of Donald or his family, or is
able to contact him or his family directly, now is the time to speak
up.
3. Despite the possibility of me intruding at an unfortunate time, I
have considered mailing a letter to Donald's home address in the hope
that someone will reply. I will proceed with that in the next day or
so unless someone has a better idea.
4. Although perhaps a little premature, those of you who consider
yourselves to be "senior" members may wish to give some thought as to
the future of LT; ie who will receive levels and LPBs and put out the
Updates, and who will manage/moderate the Group (need not be the same
person).
5. Please feel free to add anything useful or suggest an alternate
course of action.
