What is the official link of LaserTank web site?	TOP
The LaserTank web site is https://laser-tank.com/ . On the opening page, you have two language options, English ( https://laser-tank.com/ltank_en.html ) and French ( https://laser-tank.com/ltank_fr.htmll ). You can download new levels, high scores, tutorial packages, graphics (skins), utilities, etc. The levels and high scores are updated monthly.

Where can I get more info, ask questions, and discuss things related to LaserTank?	TOP

I downloaded the LaserTank setup file.
Does the package include the new levels and the tutorial levels?

No, it does not. The package include only the standard level set that contains 2030 levels.
There are many other level sets (Beginner-I, Beginner-II, Challenge-I, Challenge-II, Challenge-III, Sokoban-I, Sokoban-II, Special-I, etc.; each contains up to 2000 levels) that can be downloaded for free from https://laser-tank.com/levels.html
To get access to those level sets, you must become the member of the LaserTank Yahoo Group.
The tutorial levels can be downloaded from the help page at https://laser-tank.com/help.html

If I create new levels, where should I send them?

Send them to the LaserTank manager by clicking here:
or cut & paste this adress: lasertank[AT]cgocable[DOT]ca
[AT] and [DOT] should be replaced by @ and .

All new levels must be doable/solvable; so each of them must be accompanied with its lpb (LaserTank playback) file.
It is suggested to pack the level file and all the playback files into one zip file.
DO NOT send the zip file to the LaserTank Yahoo Group forum, because other players will receive your solutions as well.
Also, if you create a level that is strongly inspired of another LaserTank level, or of another program like Sokoban, please give the credit to the original author in the hint of the level.

If I beat the GHS (global high score), where should I send my scores?

If you beat the GHS, you must provide the playback file as the proof of your solution.
Rate each level you have solved if it has no rating or if you think the rating is wrong with the use of the LaserTank Level's Evaluator. This is a special tool to create standardized comments about Levels' ratings.
It is suggested to pack all the playback files and the rating file into one zip file.
DO NOT send the zip file to the LaserTank Yahoo Group forum, because other players will receive your solutions as well.
Be fair, DO NOT send GHS for your own levels.

Some levels seem impossible to solve. How do I know that the levels are doable/solvable?	TOP
All levels that officially published by the level manager are solvable. The new players are encouraged to play the tutorial levels that can be downloaded from the help page at https://laser-tank.com/help.html .

Where can I find the lpb (LaserTank playback) files of the existing levels?	TOP
The playback files are not available for downloading. The players should solve the levels by themselves. Only tutorial levels have playbacks, which can be found on the help page at https://laser-tank.com/help.html .

Can I change the graphics, so the board and the objects have different looks?	TOP
Yes, you can. To change the graphics, you click on the "Option" menu in the game, then select "Change Graphics ...". Or, simply press [CTRL] G. To get more LTG (LaserTank Graphics) selections, you can download hundreds of LTG files at the LaserTank web site. Click on "LTG Graphics" at the leftside of the screen.

How can I create my own LTG files?

Download "LTG_Starter_Kit", "tips_ltg.html", "how_to_mask.txt", "View_Starters.gif", and "LTG_Editor.zip" (that contains the utility program "ltgraph.exe") from "More Downloads" -> "LTG Tools" at the LaserTank web site. The files explain everything you want to know about making LTG. The LTG Editor (ltgrapgh.exe) is used to combine the bitmap files you have created using image editing program (like MS Paint) into an LTG file.
